Ecology and Restoration Specialist

Kevin Fisher is an ecologist and Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) who specializes in wetlands, habitat restoration, and mitigation design projects.  He has worked on large-scale ecological restoration and remediation projects since 1997.  He has participated in the planning, design, and implementation of more than 30 stream and wetland restoration projects ranging from mangrove forests in the Gulf of Thailand to high altitude meadows in the Sierra Nevada.  Kevin specializes in interdisciplinary projects that require significant coordination between scientists and engineers.  He has managed maintenance, restoration, and mitigation projects for public and private clients through all phases of the project lifecycle.  Kevin’s experience includes work in tidal marshes, freshwater wetlands and riparian ecosystems. Kevin has extensive experience with regulatory compliance including preparation of environmental assessments, state (CDFG 1602, RWQCB 401) and federal (CWA 404) permits.
